Another FUN filled day! - Skyscrapers!

We had a pretty busy day today at CreARTive. We put our paper mache projects to the side so that the kids could get a flavour for other types of art as well. Today we concentrated on learning to draw with markers using our imagination and also simple shapes / lines. The first project was our Skyscraper project, we looked at some art work by an artist by the name of Marz jr. and went for it! It was a great success! We let the kids choose a background colour of their choice and told them to leave some room for a building in white. They drew a separate building on white paper and glued it onto their original sheet of paper to give it that extra Marz jr. tough!

We also did a few other drawings during class which highlighted using simple shapes and lines to create great art work!

Rectangles, squares, triangles and circles! Simple shapes, awesome outcome!
